“The Outlander”
''Outlander" is an audiovisual performance that is a complex and multifaceted work
Four artists are trying to draw the audience's attention to the illusory nature of a stranger in a world where borders and differences continue to create conflicts and barriers between people.
The concept of the artwork is based on the idea of combining the voices of different people speaking different languages into a merged sound composition. This symbolizes the desire to create a united humane society where differences do not cause disunity, but, on the contrary, enrich our understanding of the structure of the world.
Facelessness and silence are an image, an element, a unit of general collective balance, where the true essence of a person is not determined by his/her appearance or language program.
The sound manifesto was recorded in different countries by native speakers as well as by migrants. The words chosen specifically for the project represent universal values that bind us all together.
Language polyphony is a recording of 4 tracks on 4 media with which performers move. With the help of loudspeakers, the effect of a dialogue between countries is created at the moment of movement of a "mute" person. The parlances are accompanied by the revised anthem "The Internationale" - this is the international alphabet, the collective memory of resistance through unification. Unification of new times.
''Outlander" appeals to viewers to think about tolerance and the need for communication. In a challenging time overloaded with information, we need simple, understandable words like a sip of clean water, and maybe it sounds banal, but humanity must remember humanity.

Squads of expert councils and curators, competitions

Some are FOR.
Some are AGAINST.
Freedom-loving and “independent” individuals who
publicly suffer from the “imperfections” of the world
and kings of networking who kiss the hand.
Money will reconcile everyone. To the factory! To the
assembly line!
“Art loses its meaning when it ceases to be effective.”
(To Contemporary Art)
Art is relevant when it asks the questions of its time.
Substituting relevance for the collector’s price tag and
a spot in a luxurious interior.
Art is a mission, the universal idiom, speaking honestly
and openly in the language of all.
It’s not narration but doubt and reasoning. “An artist is
something more than a master of his craft: he influences everyone, penetrates the soul of each, speaks
on behalf of all, of the entire people.” - (Feuchtwanger,
Goya or the Hard Way to Knowledge)
“Don Francisco here gave embodiment to fear, that
deep, hidden fear that weighs over the entire country.
It’s enough to see it with your own eyes, and it will dissipate...” - (Feuchtwanger, “Goya or the Difficult Path
of Knowledge”)
P. S. Fairs at all times were popular and crowded as
the apotheosis of the holiday but people also willingly
gather for auto-da-fe ...

“Mute”
And silence is the future of all days
that roll toward speech; yes, silence is the presence
of farewells in our greetings as we touch.
Indeed, the future of our words is silence –
those words which have devoure
d the stuff of things
with hungry vowels, for things abhor sharp corners.
Silence: a wave that cloaks eternity.
Silence: the future fate of all our loving –
a space, not a dead barrier, but space
that robs the false voice in the blood-stream throbbing
of every echoed answer to its love.
And silence is the present fate of those who
have lived before us; it’s a matchmaker
that manages to bring all men together
into the speaking presence of today.
Life is but talk hurled in the face of silence.’
Joseph Brodsky
страшащуюся собственных углов;
волна, перекрывающая вечность.
Молчанье есть грядущее любви;

«Performance art is “avant-garde’s avant-garde»
“performance manifestos, from the Futurists to the present, have been the expression of dissidents who
have attempted to find other means to evaluate art experience in everyday life.”

“The curator said it is necessary! The artist answered Yes! ”
In its manifesto, House of Culture GES-2 is a platform aimed at involving society in the cultural environment,
cooperation of various communities on the basis of exchange, where artistic experiments, performances,
participatory projects are implemented, interaction with any visitor is important, this is a large playroom
where everyone is equal.
The performances here are coordinated by the curators, expected by the public, turned into attractions for
entertainment.
This performance is an intervention. For us, it is important to interact not so much with the viewer as
with the institution itself; we are interested in its reaction to “uninvited guests”, to an unapproved project.
In this case, we keep the essence of performance as an art form: surprise and exploration of the reaction
to one’s message.
“Culture must be cultural”
Dressing up faceless white clothes, we turn into mass characters passing through the exhibition. White
robes dictate a refined space, plaster statues of a bygone era, the spirit of which permeates the exhibition halls. We respect art objects and do not interfere with the dialogues between visitors and art. Pioneer attributes in the form of instruments are a sacred symbol, the sound of silence of a new empty space.
The drum and horn are silent, obeying the established regulations. This has been the case at all times.
“Artist! You are responsible for everything! “
The performance includes most of the improvisation, it is a live action that can be invaded by the external
environment. The performance is always interactive, mobile and unpredictable.
